Job Description

  • Build and simulate models of microbial metabolic networks
  • Survey literature
  • Develop tools and customised pipelines for effective project execution
  • Effectively communicate with client research team
  • Document models and results and communicate with team members and client

Requirements

  • ME/MTech/MS/PhD
  • BE/BTech in Chemical Engineering / Biotechnology / other areas
  • Experience with mathematical modelling
  • Ability to program in a high-level programming langugage such as MATLAB/Python
  • Excellent communication skills and leadership qualities
  • Familiarity with ODE-based modelling / constraint-based modelling will be helpful
  • Knowledge of optimisation / process modelling will be a plus
  • Projects / publications in relevant areas will be a huge plus
